KATY & JOEY sing and play their own songs in English and Ukrainian, which are brought to life as a successful mixture of jazz and pop. KATYA CHE’s songs are hymns to peace, expressing hope and strength. Joey’s songs were written in collaboration with Erich Fischer (music) and Wolfgang Bortlik (lyrics).
With her expressive voice and her charisma, KATYA CHE inspires the audience. The “rhythm section” with JOEY on vibraphone and vocals and THOMAS on double bass also contribute significantly to the interesting sound of KATY & JOEY with their sensitive accompaniments and gripping improvisations.

The ‘VerhandelBar’ is a low-threshold contact point and public negotiation space in the urban space on Sandstraße and is organised every Thursday by the Munich artist collective Tam Tam with a bar and sometimes performative, sometimes discursive events.
