Motif on the billboard side facing away from the city center. The image shows a plan of the Old Botanical Garden and its location in the cityscape, which also includes historical elements and past locations.

Reenactment of the 1974 World Cup football match GDR – FRG, 2018

Massimo Furlan

2 JUN — 14 JUL 21

Billboard at Lenbachplatz

The photograph shows the interior of the Olympic Stadium at night. It shows the artist Massimo Furlan in a green and black football shirt, standing in a goal. The green football turf stretches out in front of him, but he is the only player on the pitch. Only the spotlight of a floodlight on the pitch illuminates the otherwise dark stadium. The score of this fictitious football match appears on a scoreboard high above the spectator stands: "GDR against FRG - 1 to 0".

Whose utopia we shall return to / I’m imitating you, but you are changing all the time

Flaka Haliti

8 MAR — 1 JUN 21

Frontal view of the billboard. Above a colorful collage of image, word and sign appears barely legible the phrase "Whose Utopia we shall return to".

Billboard at Lenbachplatz

In black handwriting on a blue background appear the words "Düşler Ülkesi", which can be translated literally from Turkish as "Land of Dreams".
